We are also very thankful to have Her Babyness as our newest addition to the family. We all sat mesmerized watching the digital picture frame and all pics for quite some time ooohing and aahhing. A special prayer of thanks was also said for our special family members not down home this Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to see you at Christmas and blow bubbles and zerberts with Her Babyness. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m sure you all had a great holiday.
She is so cute in her little princess dress.

The day we’ve all been waiting for… a picture of your beautiful baby girl. A big thank you to you as well for continuing to post such great things, so often… lots of people abandon us “waiters” when they get busy with life and family - not that this isn’t understandable given the excitement and busy-ness of life with a child(ren), but as someone who is still waiting (and will be for a very long time to come), continuing to “see” and hear from the people who have sustained me this far is definitely something to be thankful for
congratulations on being home with your girl. We have been home with Samra now for a year and loving it! Can I please know her name? I’m following your blog and am just dying to know her name….I’ll keep it under my hat!
Cheers

Pears can just fuck off too. 'Cause they're gorgeous little beasts, but they're ripe for half an hour, and you're never there. They're like a rock or they're mush. In the supermarket, people banging in nails. "I'll just put these shelves up, mate, then you can have the pear." … So you think, "I'll take them home and they'll ripen up." But you put them in the bowl at home, and they sit there, going, "No! No! Don't ripen yet, don't ripen yet. Wait til he goes out the room! Ripen! Now now now!"
Oh! Look at her with her pink and sparkly! I love it! I absolutely LOVE it!
I also wish I was napping with her.

That is her in her traditional Ethiopian dress, on Ethiopian New Year’s Day — the first day we met her.
The dress barely fits her anymore. *sniff*
