So funny - I am out of town for work, and my husband Jrock, who never surfs blogs, called me tonight to say “Cinnamon got her referral!!!!” cause he randomly decided to check on you (knowing we chat a lot.)
I am SO happy for you, and I can’t WAIT to see a picture. !!!!!!!!

Thank you all SO much! We’re so happy, a little stunned, pretty emotional… but mostly, BUSY LIKE CRAZY as we get ready for the social worker’s final check of everything and then signing off to accept the referral!
I will post about our fantastic first day when I get a few moments break from babyproofing: changing the electrical outlets, putting away the knives, getting rid of the alcohol, putting locks on the cabinets…

I have already told the new parents how we feel about becoming new grandparents so just to let you all know,we are thrilled. We are also one up on the rest of you. We have seen the little one and she is adorable. Big brown eyes, a full head of hair and lips that are just waiting to be kissed by her new family. We can’t wait to bring her into the(getting bigger)clan. I know she could not have picked more loving parents.

Timmi’s in my kitchen and she just asked me if I’d read the blog in the last day or two. I’m openly weeping with joy for you guys. I’m so, so, SO delighted for you that I am flabbergasted. My gasts have been flabbered.
And now, a smile from the Weasel:
