All Is Quiet On New Year’s Day

I was just reading this New York Times piece on the forensic evidence, the ballistics match, the eye-witnesses, and the 78 hours worth of wire-taps, a portion of which included the defendant saying "I killed him, I killed him, I killed him dead". And I was wondering what a fella has to do to get thrown in jail on your watch?

No hangovers here. What a beautiful sight. I love it when the snow clings to the evergreens. We are expecting yet another storm tonight, the fourth or fifth since Christmas. At this point, I have lost count. Not much accumulation though as it switches to freezing rain and rain. Nasty roads but not a lot of snow. That could change tonight.

No hangovers here. It was a very quiet New Years for us. We didn’t even stay up to bring in the New Year.
